چکیده
A non-Newtonian mathematical model of blood described as a Hershel-Bulkley fluid flowing in stenosed artery with the effect chemical reaction is mathematically studied. The expressions shear stress, mean velocity and absolute plug non-plug flow field are evaluated analytically. convective-diffusion equation solved using Taylor-Aris technique subject to relevant boundary constraint determining concentration, relative effective axial diffusivity. efficiency dispersion process affected by presence stenosis flow. normalized decreases height length increase. diffusivity significantly lower while considerably rate, Besides, it observed that solute disperses stenosis, quantities lesser than absence stenosis. Further, this study helps understanding many physiological processes for instance drugs or nutrients circulatory system. Also, enhance through narrow arteries

MHD Flow of Blood through Radially Non-symmetric Stenosed Artery: a Hershcel-Bulkley Model (RESEARCH NOTE)
The purpose of this study is to develop a mathematical model for studying the magnetic field effect on blood flow through an axially non-symmetric but radially symmetric atherosclerotic artery. Herschel-Bulkley equation has been taken to represent the non-Newtonian character of blood. The response of magnetic field, stenosis height, shape parameter on velocity, volumetric flow rate in stenotic ...

In this investigation, a mathematical model for studying oscillatory flow of blood in a stenosed artery under the influence of transverse magnetic field through porous medium has been developed. The equations of motion of blood flow are solved analytically. The analytical expressions for axial velocity, volumetric flow rate, pressure gradient, resistance to blood flow and shear stress have been...
متن کاملAn implicit finite difference scheme for analyzing the effect of body acceleration on pulsatile blood flow through a stenosed artery
With an aim to investigate the effect of externally imposed body acceleration on two dimensional, pulsatile blood flow through a stenosed artery is under consideration in this article. The blood flow has been assumed to be non-linear, incompressible and fully developed. The artery is assumed to be an elastic cylindrical tube and the geometry of the stenosis considered as time dependent, and a co...
متن کاملMathematical modelling of Sisko fluid flow through a stenosed artery
In the present study, the nonlinear model of non-Newtonian blood flow in cosine-shape stenosed elastic artery is numerically examined. The model is carried out for axisymmetric, two-dimensional and fully developed blood flow. The vessel wall is assumed to be have time-dependent radius that is important factor for study of blood flow. The cosine-shape stenosis convert to rigid artery by using a ...
